And in fact, electrifying the Postal Service's fleet is a key element of the Biden administration's plan to replace its federal fleet of 600,000 cars and trucks with electric vehicles and slash the government's carbon emissions by 65% by 2030.<\/span><\/p><p><span ><\/span><\/p><p><span >Therefore, it makes no sense for the Postal Service to enact a plan that would lock in polluting, gas-powered vehicles for decades to come. We ask that you listen to the Environmental Protection Agency, the White House, and thousands of citizens across the country and put the $11 billion in new Postal Service funding toward electric
