Preserving a healthy planet means curbing plastic waste<\/strong><\/h3>\r\nEarth Day is a great reminder to think about our personal actions, and what we can do to leave behind a healthier planet for our kids and grandkids to enjoy.<\/span>\r\n\r\nBut we can\u2019t save the Earth without getting corporations to do their part.<\/span>\r\n\r\nNew research shows that between 2019 and 2021, the amount of single-use plastic produced actually <\/b>rose<\/i><\/b> by millions of tons per year<\/b><\/a>. Since only a <\/span>tiny fraction<\/span><\/a> of plastic is ever recycled, that translates to a lot of plastic piling up in landfills and polluting our environment.<\/span>\r\n
