Consumer groups urge FDIC to protect the "FDIC-Insured" logo from misleading ads.

U.S.PIRG, NCLC and other leading groups have urged the FDIC to protect its important “FDIC-Insured” logo from misuse. The FDIC and CFPB had already acted to warn cryptocurrency firms against misuse. This week we sent a detailed coalition letter urging the FDIC to do more. Action is critical since the recent failures of SVB Bank and Signature Bank.
